This simple applet demonstrates real time calculations to work out the angle of deflection and momentum loss during the
collision between spheres.
This could represent the molecules of a gas contained in a finite area.
The pressure would be the collision with the walls of the container.
At some instances there is no collisions, meaning that the pressure would be zero, at other times there are multiple collisions.
Pressure when stated is actually an average pressure.

Even in this very simple physics model, you can notice some strange behaviour.
The rules are the same for every sphere, yet some display some odd nuances.
It is hard to predict the exact behaviour of one molecule. |
